Season of 2015/2016 has already begun! – Polish-Egyptian Archaeological and Conservation Expedition to the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari

The new season of works by Polish Mission in the temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari has been launched in the end of October. During the autumn part of the season (until the Christmas break) works will be focused on the epigraphic documentation of Punt Portico, Main Sanctuary of Amun and in the Southern Room of Amun. There are also archaeological works conducted by the southern wall of the Hatshepsut Chapel. Our Egyptian inspector is Sayed Mohammed Sayed.
Moreover, in our house we host two other Polish teams related to the mission of Hatshepsut – Tuthmosis III Mission, which has been working in the warehouse with blocks from the Tuthmosis III temple from Deir el-Bahari (director Dr. Monika Dolińska) and Asasif Project (director Patryk Chudzik).
